Every year in the United States, millions of dogs and cats are killed in our Animal Shelters because there simply are too many of them and not enough homes.

If your cat or dog is having litters of puppies or kittens and you think you're finding all of them permanent and loving homes, think again. Statistics show that when puppies and kittens leave your home and grow into young, and even healthy, adult animals, they are discarded by the millions along our roads, in our streets or they are surrendered to local animal shelters, where the vast majority of them are killed by lethal injection. And then they are trashed.
