| How to use Communities Editing tools
Use the tool to add style to your community If your browser is MSN Explorer or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later on Windows, you can use our tool to add fun and color to your community. Community managers can dress up their What's New page and create fun, colorful custom Web pages. All members can add lively content to messages, lists, and calendar events. Here's what each of the buttons on the rich What do the text tool does:  | | | Removes the selected text. |  | | | Copies the selected text. |  | | | Pastes the cut or copied text where your mouse cursor is located. |  | | | Lets you apply preset formatting to the selected text. |  | | | Lets you display your text in a specific font. |  | | | Changes the size of your text. |  | | | Makes your text bold. |  | | | Italicizes your text. |  | | | Underlines the selected text. |  | | | Lines up your text on the left. |  | | | Centers your text. |  | | | Lines up your text on the right. |  | | | Creates a numbered list. |  | | | Creates a bulleted list. |  | | | Moves text to the left. |  | | | Moves text to the right. |  | | | Inserts a line. |  | | | Inserts a link to a page within your community or to another Web site. |  | | | Inserts a table. |  | | | Adds a picture or photo to your message. |  | | | Lets you change the color of your text. |  | | | Lets you apply a background color to your page (this is only available for Custom Web pages). |  | | | Lets you insert an emoticon (an emotion icon) to convey feelings or add personality. | Notes -
Enter, select, and move text around just as if you were using a word processor (press ENTER once to create a new line, twice to start a new paragraph). -
You cannot use HTML tags in the tool. If you want to work directly in HTML, scroll to the bottom of the tool and select the Use HTML to create your page check box (this is not available when adding items to lists).
