Reflection on God's Rainbow
The rainbow is an arc of light with spectrum colours caused by drops of water falling through the air and is a spectacular light show.
God sent us the rainbow after the great flood when Noah made the Arc. God said he would never abandon us again and gave us the rainbow as a sign of his assurance.

you span the heavens
bringing colour
among the dense clouds.
A bright relief
to lift the spirit
in turbulent hours.
Could I climb among your hues?
dance into your light
and be at one with thee.
My feet remain firmly on this earth,
but my higher self flies
through a vast spectrum.
