Angels are Gods messengers and are their to help us in our daily lives. In most art they are depicted with wings but as spiritual beings this may not be so. They can take the form of humans in solid form if they wish.They can be strong like armour protecting us from danger.
We all have a guardian Angel and several other angels as our unseen helpers.
The Bible is full of Angels and we should pay attention to them for they come to us in our inner voice if we listen. Angels are everywhere.
The Divine messengers have three hiararchies each of three orders:- Seraphim Dominions Principalities
Cherubim Virtues Archangels
Thrones Powers Angels
Enfold Me
Enfold me in your wings
Angel of the night.
Keep away the darkness
while the stars are shinning bright.
Enfold me in your love
Angel of the day
Every step I take
may it be the right pathway.
Enfold me in God's presence
Angel of destiny.
Be by my side
Through all eternity.
