Captain Dick is a retired Duluth Fire Department Captain, and licensed & insured U.S. Coast Guard Captain. He holds Coast Guard license #1655944. He is certified in First Aid and CPR and is Emergency Medical Trained.
You probably won't be able to find another guide with 40 years of Lake Superior fishing experience, with 20+ years a licensed charter captain. As we state in our name\title line, Captain Dick was the first guide licensed by the state of Minnesota, he holds guide license #1.
Presently Dick is semi-retired from charter fishing and taking only groups of one or two .
