MANAGEMENT OF CLUB
 
1. BADMOUTHING/COMPLAINTS

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE IN THE CLUB. 

We don't allow the badmouthing of ANYONE in the board, even if they have done something horrible against you.  Members, though, are WELCOME to inquire politely the doings of others.  For example, if someone fails to ship you the merchandise you ordered, post on the board "Ploni, why haven't you shipped my merchandise after I paid you...etc.".  

Management welcomes constructive criticism as long as it comes as a friendly advice.  If a member begins attacking anyone (including us), messages will be deleted, and possibly, the member too. 

Sometimes we delete messages that are borderline, (i.e., you would not consider it offensive), but please be understanding, what is not offensive to one is to another.  So, if we delete your message on these grounds, don't take it personally.

Finally, we focus on running this club on a broad scale, and don't always have time to deal with every individual complaint or problem.  We really care about everyone but understand our limitations.

2. LINKS

If you wold like to put a link from our club to your site, make sure that you have one from your site to ours.  We delete links that don't link back to us.  Only one link per person and that link should be to your personal site.

3. PHOTO ALBUMS

Members are welcome to put up pictures of their bettas into our Photos section.  Make an album with your name, or your site's name, and add your pictures.   

4. BETTA PICTURE CONTEST

We conduct picture contests semi-annually.  The following are the rules of the contest:

a) The picture must be of a live betta you currently possess (honorary system), whether or not it was bred or purchased by you.

b) The betta was not in a prior contest.

c) Pictures are to be entered with it's title stating it's location in the album.  Ex. the second betta placed in the category should be numbered #2.

e) If the betta was bred by someone else, state that on "description" of the picture (2nd text entry).

f) You are allowed to vote on your own if you think it's the nicest one.

g) The contest is done in the main club; winning pictures will be transferred to Bettaphotocontest.

The winners of each category will then be placed in the Best of Show albums to be voted on. The best of show male and female will be featured on the front page of this site with mention of the owner(s).

h) All members are welcome to vote.  The voting will be done in the Bettaphotocontest.  Each member is allowed to vote on up to 3 bettas, per category.  The bettas with the most votes win. Your decision is based on which betta you think it's the nicest, regardless of rules/standards set up by other groups.

5. ADVERTISING IN OUR CLUB

Please, refrain from posting invitations to another general club and other advertisements in our message board.  We do allow, however, invitations to a local club.  If you have a question if your posting complies with our "rules" ask before posting.
