Okay, this is the first, best, most important Gozilla. It establishes the mood/moral of all Godzilla movies - the Godzilla philosophy, if you will. Man creates evil/tampers with technology. In response, earth retaliates - creates Godzilla. You gotta love that thought.

This is the most fascinating movie I've ever seen and the best conversation I've ever been allowed to spy on. A physicist, a poet, and a politician meet one day at Mt. St. Michel in France and have a conversation. That's it. Believe it or not, you'll be glued to the screen/rivited. I invite people over, pour some wine, and allow people to pause the tape when they have an argument to interject into the conversation on screen. You have to own this movie!
