Most women after learning the basics of charting go on to look for more ways of recognising when

They are most Fertile, A very distinquished way of trying to detect Ovulation is to learn and chart

CERVICAL MUCUS

This cannot be done over night and learning and detecting changes will build up the more you take

notice of your cycle.You will find a pattern occuring while charting each month and recognise by

Temping and CM charting where your likely days of Ovulation may exist.and how both

Interact with each other.Once learnt you will be able to pin down the important days of Intercourse

To enhance your chances more, Thus given your husband a chance while he is reproducing new Sperm.

 

RECOGNITION

During the menstrual cycle changes are taking place in the cells lining the cervical canal.

This can be recognised by APPEARANCE,FINGERTIP TOUCH.

SENSATION

The most difficult to learn but very important.This is the sensation which you would

feel say when your period arrives the feeling at the vulva the Vaginal lips.As follows.....

Dry,Moist,Wet,Sticky,Slippery,Lubricated.

APPEARANCE

White tissue or toilet roll would be the best to wipe the Vaginal lips

when Charting Cervical Mucas.You will then notice changes in colour these can be...

White,Creamy,Clear,Opaque.

My advise would be not to rely on the cervical mucas that has dried on your underwear as its

characteristics would have changed during the day as to when it was first noticeable.

FINGERTIP TEST

After blotting the tissue with your Cervical mucas and disguinishing the colour,

Gently slide the sample away from the tissue to your fingertip this may be better on

your Index finger and thumb.

PHASE 1 Early Mucas

If you are just starting to learn Cervical Mucas you may notice at first that prior to

Ovulation the mucas may appear Tacky,Not stretchy and breaks easily,It may

also be white in colour and holds its shape.

PHASE 2 Transitional Mucas

Still buildingup to Ovulation few days prior release, You may feel that the sensation

is becoming more wetter,Blotting the tissue and fingertip test may reveal that the

cervical mucas becomes more cloudy, Sticky and can be streacthed.

PHASE 3 Highly Fertile Mucas

At Ovulation You may feel the sensation of lubricant or slippery,The colour of the cervical Mucas

will be Clear like eggwhites, It will be very stretchy and will break after stretching

some several inches.This is often defined as PEAK DAY on the last day of feeling or noticing

the above.

 

POST OVULATION INFERTILE PHASE

Following peak day and Ovulation the slippery ,lubricant sensation will suddenley stop

and return to sticky creamy mucas, stopping the sperm from reaching the egg.As it thickens.

Until the sensation returns to DRYNESS.Then the start of the next Period.
