AOL messenger AIMFix
|
some viruses reset your security settings to HIGH, making you unable to download AIMFix or other removal tools. Add Jayloden.com as a trusted site (Tools menu, Internet Options, Security tab, Trusted Sites) and you will be able to download AIMFix. download Gaim or Trillian and use one of them to talk on AIM (AOL messenger). This may help at least prevent the messages from being sent by the virus, since I'm pretty sure it uses AIM-specific calls to do the sending. |
