Served with A Battery, 377th Arty (Aviation) 101st ABN. Div. Camp Eagle, South Vietnam, 1971. Worked in the maint. hanger and then flew asCC/DG on several Hueys attached to A Battery. My tailnumbers were 527 and 787. We were located between the PX at Eagle and the Big Hq. Pad in the area known as "The Gulch". Our callsign was "Gunner" and we had the helicopters with the Cannon shells painted on the tailbooms. We were attached to DIVARTY as aviation support. Our OH-6's could be seen in the air around and at many firebases. Our Hueys flew support into most of the firebases of the 101st in the I Corp area.

I was a machine gunner w/the B-2/501st (101st ABN Div) RVN 67-68. I have found over 80 of the guys in our company during my stint in Nam and we have found many others from the years of 68-72. I am always looking for more. I was wounded near Hue on 13 Mar 68 and am still 100% disabled from my head injury. My wife is the webmaster of our B-2/501st website and if you'd like to visit, the url is www.b2501airborne.com I am a full blooded Seneca living on the Allegany Indian Reservation with my wife. Have 3 grown kids. I'm a proud Vietnam Veteran and will ALWAYS be AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY. Would like to hear from other Airborne Paratroopers.
